Shimano EP6 Electric Assistance Bike - Equipped for all your adventures

This electric assistance bike combines power, range, comfort, and versatility to meet the needs of everyday cyclists as well as long-distance enthusiasts. Built around a custom-tube aluminium Alloy Al-6061 T6 frame, it offers great robustness while keeping a manageable weight. Available in three sizes (S - 40 cm, M - 45 cm, and L - 50 cm), it adapts to different body types to ensure a comfortable riding position.

The electric assistance is provided by the Shimano STEPS EP6 motor, which delivers a maximum torque of 85 Nm. Known for its power and smoothness, it makes starts, climbs, and loaded trips easier. Paired with an integrated Shimano Full Internal battery of 630 Wh, it offers generous autonomy for daily commuting as well as long outings. Recharging is handled by a Shimano E8004 charger at 4 A, optimising charging time. The system is controlled via the intuitive and easy-to-use Shimano SC-EN600 display.

The Shimano Deore 10-speed transmission ensures precise and reliable gear changes. It includes a Shimano Deore SL-M4100-R Rapidfire Plus shifter, a Shimano SM-CRE61 chainring with 38 teeth, a Shimano Deore CS-M4100 11-46 tooth cassette, and a Shimano CN-LG500 chain, providing a wide range of gearing suitable for both hilly routes and urban trips.

Comfort is ensured by a suspended SR Suntour XCM32 DS fork with 80 mm of travel, a coil spring, and Quick Release attachment. The Rubena Cheetah tyres in 27.5 x 2.35 inches provide grip, stability, and safety on roads as well as paths.

Braking is managed by Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes paired with a Shimano SM-RT10 rotor of 180 mm, guaranteeing powerful and progressive stopping in all weather conditions.

The cockpit includes a ONE1 TDS-C342 aluminium stem with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a +15° angle, paired with a ONE1 Alloy MTB AL-325BT handlebar 720 mm wide, lifted 25 mm, with 6° upsweep and 9° backsweep for a natural and comfortable position. Herrmans Clik DD37 grips ensure excellent handling, while the Selle Royal Vivo saddle offers appreciated comfort over long distances.

For safe daily use, the bike is equipped with a front AXA Compactline 20 light with 20 lux and a Spanninga Pling XE rear light. Wrap-around aluminium mudguards effectively protect against spray, while the aluminium rear rack compatible with AVS allows for easy transport of bags and accessories.

With a GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) of 150 kg, this bike is perfectly suited for transporting luggage, commuting, hiking, and versatile uses requiring significant carrying capacity.
